The elaboration zone of the second system of gloves boxes is used to prepare solutions of organic materials and deposit them by spin coating or by "doctor blade".
In addition, the morphology of the films deposited in this way can be controlled by mechanical brushing.
This gloves box also contains:
- a spin-coater
- a heater with magnetic stirrer
- an electronic micropipette
- a heating plate to perform controlled annealing
These equipments have been installed in a strong partnership with the Sycommor team managed by Martin Brickmann from the ICS ("Institut Charles Sadron") thanks to a financial support of the University of Strasbourg and Future investment (IdEx 2015 - Attractivité). They are kept to research activities carried out by members from teams Sycommor of ICS and MaCEPV of ICube. Information demands can nevertheless be addressed by e-mail to Laure Binieck (laure.biniek@ics-cnrs.unistra.fr).
